I'm a Wales-based creative arts therapist currently accepting clients for virtual sessions. I use talk therapy (analysis), play, storytelling, and mindfulness modalities in sessions.

I hope to help clients unwind and release, even if for a moment, the tensions they carry. Whether it's 1:1 or in a group, I offer opportunities for clients to practice approaching life with increased creativity and a sense of play.

I'm especially passionate about working within LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse communities— as well as folks who've experienced religious trauma. Together, we can cultivate a therapeutic space where marked and/or masking folks can rest and explore at whatever pace suits them.

Some nerdy stuff: Liberatory frameworks like disability activist/artist Petra Kuppers' eco soma, philosopher/biologist Donna Haraway's multi-species feminism, and post-Jungian depth psychology inform my approach. The arts were healing ground for thousands of years before therapy traditions existed as they do today; I aim to honor that ground in therapy and expand the role of therapy beyond often harmful paradigms.

Avery Rabbitt Independent Researcher Slumgullion: A Long-Distance Hiker's Questions About Landscapes in Drama Therapeutic Relationality Published in Drama Therapy Review, Volume 10, Issue Disability, Chronic Illness and Debility Justice in Drama Therapy: Global- Political Perspectives, Apr 2024, p. 39 - 62 Abstract I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2016. In this episodic essay, I offer descriptions of personal encounters to contemplate specific lands and drama therapeutic landscapes. I am taking curious, meandering footsteps towards a neuroqueer, post-human ecological drama therapy praxis. Sesame drama therapy often relies on imagination to offer itself to the conscious world, but ecosomatic experience can offer a ‘co-construct[ed]’ subjectivity, reframing Merleau-Ponty’s ‘flesh’ as a ‘relation of reversibility’ between ‘the seer and the seen’, the external and the internal – an ecological dynamic in which several liberatory frameworks take root.

If You wish me to leap joyfully,

Let me see You dance and sing—

Then I will leap into Love—

And from Love into Knowledge,

And from Knowledge into the Harvest,

That sweetest Fruit beyond human sense.

There I will stay with You, whirling.
